Overview of Kling Video Models

FP AI Studio includes three Kling video models, each designed for different creative needs:

  • Kling V3 Pro — The flagship model with multi-shot scene support, character elements, start/end frame control, and audio generation. Best for cinematic, story-driven content.
  • Kling V3 Omni Pro — A versatile model that handles a wide range of video generation tasks with strong prompt adherence and visual quality.
  • Kling 2.6 Motion Control — Specialized for transferring motion from a reference video onto a character image. Perfect for dance videos, character animation, and consistent motion styling.

Kling V3 Pro: Multi-Shot Storytelling

Multi-shot is the most powerful feature of Kling V3 Pro. Instead of generating a single continuous clip, you can create up to 6 sequential shots, each with its own prompt and duration.

Setting Up Multi-Shot Scenes

  1. Select Kling V3 Pro from the model dropdown
  2. Toggle on Multi-Shot in the advanced options
  3. Add scenes using the "Add Shot" button (up to 6)
  4. For each scene, write a descriptive prompt and set the duration
  5. Hit Generate and the AI will create a seamless multi-scene video

Example Multi-Shot Script

Shot 1 (5s): "A woman walks through a misty forest at dawn, cinematic lighting"
Shot 2 (5s): "Close-up of her face as she discovers an ancient stone doorway"
Shot 3 (5s): "She steps through the doorway into a magical glowing garden"

The AI maintains visual consistency across shots — the character, setting, and style carry through the entire sequence.

Character Elements

You can add a character element by providing a face image URL. The AI will incorporate that character's appearance into the generated video, ensuring consistent identity across all shots.

Kling 2.6 Motion Control

Motion control is a breakthrough feature that separates the motion from one video and applies it to a character from a static image.

How Motion Control Works

  1. Provide a character image URL — a photo of the person or character you want to animate
  2. Provide a reference video URL — a video showing the motion you want to transfer (e.g., a dance routine)
  3. Optionally add a prompt for additional context
  4. Set character orientation (front-facing, back-facing, or side-facing)
  5. Generate — the AI creates a new video where your character performs the motions from the reference video

Best Practices for Motion Control

  • Use clear character images — Front-facing, well-lit, full-body or upper-body shots work best
  • Choose clean reference videos — Single person, stable camera, clear movements
  • Match orientation — If your character faces left, set orientation to side-facing
  • Keep motion reasonable — Simple, clear movements transfer better than complex choreography

Adding AI-Generated Audio

Kling V3 Pro and V3 Omni support automatic audio generation. When enabled, the AI creates a matching soundtrack, ambient sounds, or voiceover based on the video content.

Toggle Generate Audio in the video generation settings. This works with both single-shot and multi-shot videos. The audio is synchronized to the visual content and adds significant production value to your output.

Advanced Settings & Tips

CFG Scale

Controls how closely the AI follows your prompt. For video, a range of 0.3-0.7 typically works well. Lower values produce more natural motion but may deviate from your description.

Aspect Ratio

Available ratios: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1. Choose 16:9 for cinematic content, 9:16 for mobile/social, and 1:1 for versatile square format.

Duration

Kling supports 5-second and 10-second clips. For multi-shot, each shot can have its own duration. Shorter clips tend to have higher visual quality.

Start & End Frame

Provide image URLs for the first and last frame of your video. The AI will interpolate between them, giving you precise control over the visual journey.

Recommended Workflow

  1. Concept: Plan your shots on paper — what happens in each scene?
  2. Generate images first: Use FP AI Studio's image generation to create character references and key frames
  3. Single-shot test: Try your first scene as a single shot to validate the style
  4. Multi-shot assembly: Once happy with the style, create the full multi-shot sequence
  5. Add audio: Enable audio generation for the final version
  6. Download & share: Save the result and share your creation
