AI video generation has gone from science fiction to reality. With FP AI Studio, you can create short video clips from just a text description — no video editing skills required. This guide will walk you through creating your very first AI video.
What You Need
- FP AI Studio app installed on your Android device
- A Freepik API key (get one free at freepik.com/developers)
- An idea — what do you want to see in your video?
That's it. No expensive software, no video editing experience, no GPU required. The AI does all the heavy lifting in the cloud.
Create Your First Video: Step by Step
Step 1: Open Video Generation
Launch FP AI Studio and tap the Video tab at the bottom of the screen. This opens the video generation interface.
Step 2: Write a Simple Prompt
Start simple. Type something like:
"A cat playing with a ball of yarn on a wooden floor, natural daylight"
You don't need fancy keywords for your first try. Just describe what you want to see happening.
Step 3: Select a Model
For your first video, choose Luma Dream Machine or Minimax — they're fast and produce good results for beginners. You can explore more advanced models like Kling V3 Pro later.
Step 4: Hit Generate
Tap the Generate button. The app will send your prompt to the AI and start creating your video. This typically takes 1-3 minutes depending on the model.
Step 5: Watch & Download
Once ready, your video will appear in the player. Watch it, and if you like it, tap Download to save it to your device.
Congratulations — you just created your first AI video!
Choosing the Right Video Model
FP AI Studio offers 10 video models. Here's a beginner-friendly guide to choosing:
For Your First Few Videos
- Luma Dream Machine — Smooth, reliable, handles a variety of prompts well
- Minimax — Fast generation, good for testing ideas
- Wan-X — Great visual quality, slightly slower
When You're Ready for More
- Kling V3 Pro — Multi-shot scenes, character elements, audio generation
- Kling V3 Omni Pro — Versatile, strong prompt adherence
- Kling 2.6 Motion Control — Transfer motion from one video to a character image
Understanding the Settings
Duration
Most models offer 5-second or 10-second clips. Start with 5 seconds — it's faster to generate and iterate.
Aspect Ratio
- 16:9 — Standard widescreen, great for YouTube or presentations
- 9:16 — Vertical video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts
- 1:1 — Square format, works everywhere
Negative Prompt
Available on some models. Use it to exclude unwanted elements: "blurry, low quality, distorted faces, watermark"
CFG Scale
Controls how strictly the AI follows your prompt. Leave it at the default until you're more experienced. Lower values = more creative freedom for the AI.
Writing Good Video Prompts
Video prompts differ from image prompts in one key way: they need to describe motion.
Include Action Words
- "A bird flying over a mountain lake"
- "Waves crashing on a rocky shore"
- "A dancer spinning under spotlight"
Describe Camera Movement
- "slow pan across a sunset cityscape"
- "camera slowly zooms in on a flower blooming"
- "tracking shot following a runner through a park"
Keep It Focused
In 5-10 seconds, you can show one action clearly. Don't try to pack in an entire storyline. Describe one clear moment:
Too much: "A woman walks into a cafe, orders coffee, sits down, opens her laptop, and starts typing while it rains outside"
Just right: "A woman sitting at a cafe window, steam rising from her coffee, rain drops on the glass, warm cozy atmosphere, slow dolly in"
Next Steps
Now that you've created your first video, here's how to level up:
- Try different models — Each has a different visual style and strength
- Experiment with prompts — Try the same concept with different wording
- Explore multi-shot — Use Kling V3 Pro to create multi-scene narratives
- Try motion control — Transfer dance moves or actions to any character
- Combine with image generation — Generate a character image, then animate it with video AI
